The School of Science and Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú pleased to invite you to participate in the 17th Congress, which will take place in Cusco, Peru, from October 20 to 22, 2026.

This important conference will bring together faculty members, researchers, professionals, and students from the Ibero-American community and various regions around the world, with the aim of sharing the latest advances in various fields of mechanical engineering, as well as strengthening collaborative networks among institutions and specialists from multiple countries.

The conference will feature plenary and thematic sessions, tourist activities, and a gala dinner—all designed to foster interaction, academic exchange, and the creation of new opportunities for cooperation. 

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, and a selection of outstanding papers will be considered for publication in the Revista Iberoamericana de Ingeniería Mecánica, as well as other high-impact journals to be announced in due course.

The conference will take place at the Cusco City Hall and other conference rooms located in Cusco’s Historic Center, under the auspices of the Ibero-American Federation of Mechanical Engineering.

Finally, Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, offers an unparalleled cultural and tourist experience. During the conference, participants will have access to a wide range of tours and complementary activities for themselves and any guests they may bring.
